Twelve Iraqi swimmers to compete in Qatar’s Swimming Championship

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Chairman of the Central Iraqi Swimming Federation, Sarmad Abdul-Ilah, has announced on Saturday that Iraq would participation in Qatar’s Swimming Championship competition for younger ages, scheduled to take place in Doha in the second half of November, with 12 Iraqi swimmers. Abdul-Ilah told IraqiNews.com that Iraq would participate in the said championship with three teams, 8-9 years, 10 years and 11-12 years age categories. “The Iraqi delegation to the Doha Championships shall be led by the Iraqi Swimming Federation’s Secretary, Raid Amin, with the membership of Administration members, Hashim Abdullah and Rebwar Ali, as well as a number of coaches, trainers and swimmers.
