11,999 families return to place of origin

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A total of 11,999 displaced families have returned to their places of origin throughout Iraq, the director general of the information department in the Ministry of Displacement and Migration said on Sunday. “Most of these families have returned to their houses in the provinces of Baghdad, Ninewa, Kirkuk, Diala, Anbar, Babel, Wassit, Salah al-Din, Basra, and Muthanna,” a ministerial statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted Riyad Fadel as saying.
