3 giant screens to be set up in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three giant screens were be set up in different areas of the Iraqi capital at a cost of 260 million Iraqi dinars ($222 million), according to a press release by the Baghdad Mayoralty on Thursday. “Two 12 square-meter screens were set up in Bab al-Murad area, al-Kadhemiya district, and the al-Zawraa park while the third one, 20 square meters, was installed in al-Khillani square,” read the release as received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The screens will show commercials to raise public awareness and announce the Mayoralty’s instructions pertaining to services in addition to the most important political, economic and sports events,” it added.
