Baghdad-Samarra train launches 1st trip soon

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Transport will launch the first weekly passenger train trip from the capital Baghdad to Samarra city this Friday, a spokesperson for the ministry said today. “Every Friday, the train will set off from al-Allawi area to Samarra city, Salah al-Din province,” Jawad al-Kharsan told IraqiNews.com.
