Cooperation deal between AFP, Kurdistan ministry

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: An agreement has been made between the Agence France Presse (AFP) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq’s Kurdistan region to develop the abilities of Kurdish media staff. “The minister of higher education and scientific research in Kurdistan, Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, met in his Paris-based residence with AFP representative Rose-Marie Sailhan as part of a series of meetings that he is currently holding in the French capital,” a ministerial advisor, Dr.Biriwan al-Khilyani, told IraqiNews.com. “The two sides have agreed on a program to enhance the capacities of Kurdish media personnel and to train them to use modern and up-to-date techniques,” Khilyani noted.
