Gov’t boosts NGOs– minister

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi minister of displacement and migration on Saturday said that the government seeks to help non-governmental organizations (NGOs) succeed in their mission so they can coordinate with ministries and institutions to provide help for citizens. “NGOs have been increasingly improving throughout the world,” Minister Abdelsamad Rahman Sultan said during the first conference to organize local NGOs’ work in Iraq, which was attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. He added that “the government has succeeded in national reconciliation and in the achievement of many projects at different levels.” MH (P) / SS 1
