Iraq’s Kurdistan Province decides 5-days off on Muslim’s Eid al-Fitr Holidays

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The government of northern Iraq ’s Kurdistan Region has decided on Wednesday to grant its citizens 5 days off on the occasion of the Muslim Eid al-Fitr Holidays, starting next Sunday and ending on Thursday, an Arbil government statement stressed.   “The Presidency of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region has decided to consider the official working days as days- off for 5 days in all government institutions, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr Holidays, to start on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011 and end on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011,” the statement announced.   SKH (PT) 374
