School for deaf – dumb students opened in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A new specialized school for deaf and dumb students in the former armed group stronghold of Falluja, a teacher said. “Al-Amil (Hope) school has been established to teach reading, writing, and correct pronunciation skills for deaf and dumb students in Falluja,” Sharif al-Khafaji, a deaf teacher said through a signs linguist. “The determination of Falluja helps opening the schools despite a cool response from government officials and humanitarian organizations,” the teacher pointed out. “The school was established in a rented house with no equipment,” the teacher said. “It received 250 male and female students ranged between 5-12 distributed in four classes,” he added.
