Second Peoples’ Heritage Festival opens in Sulaimaniya

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The deliberations for the Second Peoples’ Heritage Festival started today in Kalar, Sulaimaniya, with the participation of 11 foreign musical teams,  the head of the festival reported. Abbas Abdul Razzak told IraqiNews.com that 106 guests participated in the festival, representing countries such as Brazil, Egypt, Iran, Poland, Croatia, Tajikistan, Cyprus and others. The Kurdish government allocated 250 million Iraqi dinars to cover the costs of the festival. Last year’s festival lasted for five days, which ended in Arbil with artistic works. RM (TP)/SR 20
