Syria allows Iraqi journalists in without visas

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Syrian government on Sunday started allowing Iraqi journalists to enter Syria without visas, said the secretary general of the Iraqi journalists union. “All the Syrian ports on the border with Iraq have been informed of this decision,” Moayad al-Lami told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The decision comes to show appreciation of the Iraqi journalists’ professional role,” he added.
