Talks to unify higher education laws between Baghdad – Arbil

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Central Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research discussed with its Kurdish counterpart the mechanisms of unifying higher education laws in both governments. In a statement issued by the ministry, Dr. Muwafaq Hamdoun said that a ministerial delegation visited Kurdistan for this purpose. “Among the main laws discusses those connected with private colleges in the region and condition for their recognition, higher studies law and certificate balance,” he added. He referred that this visit comes within the bilateral coordination in order to enhance scientific cooperation between the two ministries to develop higher education in Iraq. RM (TS)/SR 448
