Thai socio-cultural center in Duhuk

DUHUK / IraqiNews.com: The dean of Duhuk University, Issmat Mohammed Khlaid, on Thursday discussed with a delegation from the Thai embassy in Amman (Jordan) the possibility of starting a Thai socio-cultural center in the province, according to the University’s media manager. “This center will be the starting point for scientific and cultural exchange with Thailand,” Salah Mohammed Harrori told IraqiNews.com news agency. Duhuk University was formed in 1992, and currently embraces 13 colleges, in addition to a number of research and consultancy centers. Duhuk city lies 460 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 2
