Iran foiled attempts to bomb in Qom says Iran’s minister of security

Tehran, Iran (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, Iran’s authorities announced that a plan for setting a bombing in the city of Qom was foiled by the security forces.

Iranian Minister of Security, Mahmoud Alavi stated for ISNA News Agency in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, “We had uncovered and foiled a plan for bombing in the city of Qom during al-Husseiniya march. The plot was uncovered based on information and intelligence received, and which later led to the arrest of the members involved in this attempt.”

He also said, “The Security forces had also foiled several terrorist attempts for suicide bombings during al-Quds march on the international day of al-Quds earlier this year.”
