Maliki: Iraq to conclude several agreements with India

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, revealed that Iraq is going to conclude several agreements with India in the industrial, economic as well as agricultural and educational fields.

In a press conference that he held before leaving to India on Thursday, Maliki said “This visit comes as a fruit for several visits by Indian officials to Iraq;” noting that “Iraq will conclude a number of agreements in oil and agricultural fields.”

“We will conclude agreements to import medicines from India as we will agree upon erecting a factory for the chemical fertilizers,” he added.

“We will develop the joint relations through the joint committee and Iraq will receive Indian leaders in the future,” he concluded.
