Over 30 ISIS elements killed in clashes in al-Dajil, Tikrit
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Salahuddin province stated, that Army troops with support from the 2nd Abrams Battalion have managed to kill over 30 ISIS elements in heavy clashes in southern Tikrit.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Security forces backed with tanks from the 2nd Abrams Battalion began clashing yesterday with ISIS elements in al-Dajil area, located 120 km south of Tikrit. The clashes resulted in killing more than 30 ISIS militants, while backing forces have managed to kill the senior leader responsible for al-Dajil bombings.”
