Iraqi police kill and wound dozens of ISIS militants in western Ramadi

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, a security source in al-Anbar province stated, that over 20 ISIS militants have been killed in fierce clashes occurred between the police and the militants in al-Walid area in west of Ramadi.

The source informed IraqiNews, “This afternoon, ISIS militants attacked the headquarters of the police in al-Walid area, located 350 km in west of Ramadi. The security forces repelled the attack and killed over 20 ISIS militants while injuring dozens of other militants and destroying 6 armored vehicles that belonged to the group.”

He also added, “As a result of these clashes, 15 elements of the police were killed and 5 others were injured.”
