Kurdish Peshmerga forces repel ISIS attack on Sinjar
(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a source within the Kurdish Peshmerga stated, that the Peshmerga forces repelled an ISIS attack on the area of Sinjar and killed 5 ISIS elements in violent clashes.
The source, who requested anonymity, told IraqiNews, “The Kurdish Peshmerga forces have foiled an ISIS attack on the area of Sinjar,” adding that, “The Peshmerga fighters have killed 5 elements of the ISIS group including a senior leader.”
“No casualties have been reported among the Peshmerga fighters,” the source noted.
