Peshmerga forces kill, wound 9 ISIS elements in Sinjar

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Nineveh said Tuesday, that 9 ISIS elements have been either killed or injured during clashes with the Peshmerga forces in Sinjar district, located in west of Mosul.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Elements of the ISIS group have carried out a major assault against sites for the Peshmerga forces in the district of Sinjar, located in west of Mosul,” pointing out that, “The Kurdish forces have managed to kill 3 ISIS elements and wound 6 others during the clashes, which broke out between the two sides.”
