Suicide bombing kills, wounds 30 soldiers in southern Tikrit
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that 30 people were either killed or injured in a suicide bombing that targeted al-Muthanna warehouse in southern Tikrit.
The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Today, a suicide bomber driving a vehicle has blown up himself, targeting an ISIS-seized territory in al-Muthanna warehouse in the area between the districts of Samarra and al-Tharthar, located in southern Tikrit,” noting that, “The explosion resulted in killing and wounding around 30 soldiers in the area.”
“Security forces shortly blockaded the area and prevented people from approaching to it,” the source added.
