URGENT: Military operation began in al-Baghdadi, Anbar
Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a tribal leader from al-Jughayifah clan in Anbar province announced, that a military operation has begun in the area of al-Baghdadi.
Awda al-Jughaifi informed IraqiNews, “Army forces began a military operation against the ISIS group elements in the area of al-Baghdadi,” pointing out that, “The Iraqi troops have carried out the operation into the district from the base of Ain al-Asad, Haditha and the headquarters of the Seventh Brigade.”
“The military operation started after military reinforcements arrived in the area,” al-Jughaifi added.
