(IraqiNews.com) The U.S.-led coalition warplanes have dropped nearly 5,000 bombs on the ISIS group since August, damaging or destroying more than 3,000 targets, according to statistics released by the Pentagon on Wednesday.

The Pentagon spokesman Col Steven Warren said, that the U.S.-led air campaign have damaged or destroyed at least 3,222 targets, including 58 tanks, 184 Humvee vehicles, 673 fighting posts, 303 pickup trucks and 980 shelters.

Warren also said that the Pentagon did not want to reveal what percentage of ISIS weapons, vehicles, and facilities had been destroyed because “we don’t want our enemy to know how much we know about them.”

“I’m confident that the destruction level is high. Our strikes are extraordinarily accurate,” he added.
