ISIS executes 400 people in the Syrian city of Palmyra

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Syria media announced on Sunday that ISIS elements executed at least 400 people in Palmyra since they took control of the ancient city four days ago.
Syrian Arab News Agency quoted residents in the city as saying that, “ISIS terrorists have executed nearly 400 people, mostly children, women and elders under Takfiri pretexts and justifications contrary to all human values and principles.”
It added that dozens of those people were state employees, including head of the nursing department at the Palmyra National Hospital and all the members of her family.
IraqiNews.com could not immediately confirm this news, but it was in line with activists reports; they confirm that ISIS fighters have carried out executions since their control of the city from government forces.
