Al-Jaafari discusses with Egyptian ambassador strategic cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Head of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, discussed on Wednesday with Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, Sharief Kamal al-Din Shahin, ways to bolster strategic cooperation. “The meeting tackled the political developments in Iraq and in the whole region and ways to boost strategic cooperation on economic, political and investment levels,” said an official statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Al-Jaafari underlined that Shahin should play an important role in coordination field in addition to strengthening relations between the two countries,” it added. “The ambassador said that Egypt will be represented in the coming Arab summit in Baghdad with the highest level.” SH (P)/SR 1
