Atmosphere suitable for holding National Meeting, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Salman al-Musawi of the State of Law Coalition confirmed that “The political atmosphere is suitable for holding the National Meeting and blocs are waiting for the return of the Iraqi President Jalal Talabani to complete their discussions for a final outcome of the current crisis.”

He told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) that “The Kurdistani Alliance and the Iraqiya Slate announced their readiness for dialogue with the Iraqi National Alliance and this serves the interests of resolving the political crisis through the political reforms paper and holding the national meeting.”

Al- Musawi explained that “Political problems negatively affected the security situation in the country and some sides managed to exploit these problems to carry out terrorist operations,” pointing to the “existence of external support by KSA, Qatar and Turkey for these sides in the implementation of terrorist operations against Iraqis.”
