French FM assures humanitarian support rather than military to Kurdistan Region

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The French Foreign Minister assured that France can support Kurdistan Region in a humanitarian way rather than military one, though earlier he had stated that France would intervene in Iraq militarily if authorized by the United Nations Security Council.

The French FM stated in a joint press conference with the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoum Barzani where he assured “The military support for Kurdistan Region cannot be without the approval of the Security Council where France supports Kurdistan Region in the humanitarian side rather than the military one.”
