General budget is “a lie”, National Alliance MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com : A National Alliance MP described the annual general budget as “a lie”,  expressing astonishment that “the government spent 7 billion dollars without the knowledge of the Parliament”.MP Kadhim al-Sayadi told IraqiNews.com questioning “the fate of 7 billion dollars spent by the government without the knowledge of the parliament”, confirming that “there will be no budget without having the final statements”.Earlier, Chairman of Parliamentary Integrity Commission announced that his commission received a dossier containing the expenditure of these amounts, at a time the Parliamentary Financial Commission denied such move, stressing that this amount was allocated to ministries of oil and electricity.
