Maliki able to conduct political reforms, says Kurdish MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Qasim Hussien Burjis, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out that “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, is able to conduct the political reforms personally without holding meetings or conferences.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The KA wishes the national meeting to be held after the return of the President, Jalal Talabani, to settle the crisis among the political sides.”

“The articles of the reforms proposal and the way of applying them are not clear,” he concluded.

“It is well known that leaders in rule are able to reduce the tensions and to create harmony among the political sides,” he concluded.

Iraq witnesses political crisis lasted for several months due to the disputes among the political sides related to the partnership and other issues which led some blocs to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, after holding meetings in Najaf and Erbil provinces.
