Plan to create 100,000 work opportunities – Deputy VP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Vice-Premier Saleh al-Mutlaq discussed today with a number of private sector representatives and international organizations concerned with economic affairs a plan to create 100,000 work opportunities for the youth within the projects of the private sector. In a statement issued by his office, a copy of which was received by IraqiNews.com, he stressed the importance of activating and doubling work opportunities for the unemployed in a manner that will revive industrial, agricultural, and trade projects. Mutlaq directed  to adopt an ambitious plan to find 100,000 work opportunity for the youth within the private sector, the statement added. Discussions were exchanged where the participants concentrated on small projects, provision of data base, providing feasibility studies and determining financing to expand the role of the private sector in the Iraqi society.
