PM to visit China next Monday

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is scheduled to start a 3-day official visit to China next Monday, leading a high-level ministerial delegation, an official Iraqi spokesman said on Tuesday.   “Maliki shall confer during his visit with the president of the People’s Republic of China and its prime minister, to discuss bilateral relations and means for their development, especially in the fields of energy, transportation, agriculture, commodities, services and investment,” Ali al-Dabbagh added in a statement, as was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.   Dabbagh said the Iraqi prime minister’s visit would take place in response to an invitation by the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Hu Jintao.   SKH (TS)/SR 5117
