Basra Governor suffers heart attack

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Basra Governor, Majid al-Nasrawi, suffered heart-attack due to the work stress on last Monday.

The head of Governor’s office, Kadhim al-Ali, stated to IraqiNews.com “Due to the work stress, Nasrawi, suffered the heart-attack while he was in Baghdad calling for the rights of Basra from the Ministries.”

“He was sent to al-Rahibat Hospital in Baghdad immediately and after the primary investigations, the doctors recommended to refer the governor to a foreign hospital outside Iraq,” he concluded.
