Karbala delivers first payment for Iraqis returning from Syria

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) The Migration and Displacement Directorate in Karbala province has distributed the financial grant on the Iraqis who returned from Syria to Karbala province due to the violence activities occurred in Syria.

The Media Director of the Migration and Displacement Directorate Hayderi al-Rubaiy stated to IraqiNews.com that ”The Directorate distributed the first payments from the grant which the Government allocated for the Iraqi people who left Syria,” noting that “The grant equals about IQD (4.5) million for each family.”

He added that ”The grant has been delivered for the people who returned before June, 20 and the rest payments will be granted sequentially.”

The Cabinet decided on July, 24th to allocate IQD (50) million, from the emergency issues budget of 2012, to the Ministry of Migration and Displacement to cover the grant which will be paid for the Iraqi people who return from Syria and to provide the needs for the Syrian refugees who are residing at refugees camps on the Iraqi border areas. \
