I will not abandon you, says Iraq President Abadi to people of Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Thursday, that he will never abandon the people of Anbar and will always stand with them, adding that the victory will be for Iraq and all Iraqis, while pointed out he is not begging for support from any one, but eliminating terrorism is a common interest among all countries.

Abadi said in a speech today during a meeting in the United States, followed by IraqiNews.com, “I’m here in Washington not begging for support, but all the countries share the same interest of fighting ISIS because it poses a threat to the entire world,” noting that, ” Our biggest challenge is to co-exist.”

  1. This is a fact, “eliminating terrorism is a common interest among all countries”, and why over 60 countries are helping Iraq in various different ways and in what ways they can help. Nobody can get rid of terrorism completely but organisations such as ISIL can be gradually degraded till ISIL no longer can support and field an army of fighters such as like ISIL is doing now, and all the other terrorist organisations in the world can later also be similarly greatly degraded.
