4 arrested in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces detained four wanted men and suspects in two separate incidents in northern Mosul on Thursday, a security source from the Ninewa Operations Command (NOC) said. “A National Police force detained three wanted men in al-Jamea neighborhood, northern Mosul, and seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle in their possession,” the source told IraqiNews.com, adding the three are arrested in accordance with warrants on charges of having committed crimes against civilians. “In a separate incident, an Iraqi army force detained a suspect in al-Muthanna neighborhood, Talafar district, (60 km) west of Mosul,” the source added. “The arrested men are now under investigative custody,” the source said, not giving more details.
