Security forces kill 55 ISIS elements, remove 63 explosives in Salahuddin

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced, that 55 ISIS elements were killed and 63 explosives have been removed by the security forces in Salahuddin province.

The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, “The forces of Samarra Operations Command, with support from volunteers and tribal fighters of al-Ghiyari tribe, have managed to kill 55 ISIS terrorists and destroy 15 armored vehicles in addition to 10 bombed houses and weapons stores in the areas of Daluwiyia, Mutasim and al-Ishaqi.”

“The security forces have found 63 explosive devices which have been treated successfully,” the statement added.
