Urgent – .Officer in Anti-Terrorism Dept. assassinated in southern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen assassinated an officer within the Anti-Terrorism Department in al-Rasheed area of southern Baghdad on Saturday morning.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The gunmen wearing a military uniform broke into the house of the officer, killing him along with three members of his family.”

“The gunmen managed to escape after the attack while the police forces transferred the dead bodies to the morgue and launched investigation,” the source concluded.
