ISIS flogs 10 people for “publicly smoking” in Tikrit
(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source in Salahuddin province stated, that the organization of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) whipped 10 people for publicly smoking, north of Tikrit (170 km north of Baghdad).
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, ISIS elements whipped 10 people for smoking at one of the public squares in the village Sedira, eastern of Sharqat district, north of Tikrit. 50 lashes for each one of them.”
