Iraq signs military memorandum with Iran

(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, Iraqi Defense Minister and his Iranian counterpart have both signed a military memorandum stating the aspects of military cooperation between the two countries.

Iranian media sources reported, that the Iranian Defense Minister Hussein Dahqan and his Iraqi counterpart Khaled al-Obeidi have signed a memorandum of understanding to describe the military cooperation between the two countries.

The memorandum has pointed out to the implementation of military deals and the continuous military cooperation in order to build an Iraqi army that protects the unity of the provinces and maintain security in the country.
