6 people killed, wounded in bomb blast south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry said Tuesday, that six people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device south of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “A bomb exploded this evening near a number of shops in Saidiya district south of Baghdad, killing one person and wounding five others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, said: “A security force rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department.”
