Inquiry Commission of fall of Mosul: Facts unfold little by little

(IraqiNews.com) The provisional parliamentary committee for investigating the fall of Mosul announced Monday, that it has so far hosted half of the Council of Nineveh members, pointing out that the facts about the fall of the city are progressively unfolding.

A member of the committee, MP Ahmed al-Jubouri said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The committee has gone great lengths in its investigation on the fall of Mosul. There was a meeting with 18 members out of 37 members of the Council of Nineveh province,” noting that, “Their testimonies were of help.”

Al-Jubouri indicated, “Other members will be hosted in the next few days, alongside commanders of military units who were in Nineveh to determine the factors and causes behind the fall of the city.”

“Facts about the fall of Mosul are unfolding little by little as we interrogate civilian and military figures in different fields,” he added.
